VIDEO METADATA CLEANER

Clean common MP4, MOV and WebM metadata in your browser.

Inspect container-level metadata indicators, create a fresh container or deep-transcode the media, then verify the generated output.

Fresh Container

The faster video-cleaning mode copies supported video and audio streams into a new output container while disabling ordinary metadata and chapter copying. Because the streams themselves are not re-encoded, this usually preserves quality and is faster.

Deep Transcode

This mode creates new video and audio streams as well as a fresh container. It is slower, uses more device resources and may change file size or quality, but it avoids carrying the original encoded media streams forward.

BROWSER PROCESSING

Video cleaning uses FFmpeg WebAssembly.

The browser loads the video-processing engine when needed and handles the selected file locally in browser memory. Large videos can require significant RAM and processing time. Support can vary by browser and device, so the verification report should always be reviewed before publishing the output.

Important limitation

Video containers can contain proprietary or unusual data that a lightweight browser scanner may not fully interpret. Verification reports ordinary detectable metadata/signature results and should not be treated as a forensic certification.
